Curricular Activities
Keeping the vision and mission of the school in mind, the teachers of Greenshield Public School have designed the curriculum in such a way that it is not only student-friendly but also enables them to be an independent and efficient working units of the society. The school firmly believes in providing holistic and integrated development to children so they can use their existing potential to the maximum.
Independence Day Celebrations
The students of GPS celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The festivities began with a special assembly where students sang the national anthem and Dil Dil Pakistan enthusiastically.
Following the assembly, students from Pre-Primary to Class X participated in a variety of engaging activities. Their creativity shone through during pebble and pot painting, and they showed their commitment to a greener future with a meaningful plantation drive.
It was a truly memorable day that honoured the significance of the 14th of August and celebrated our nation with pride.
Volare Sports Fest
Greenshield Public School’s young athletes from Classes 3, 4, and 5 made us incredibly proud at the Volare Sports Fest held at the Epic Arena. Our team of 14 students, including a Futsal team of 10, and dedicated participants in the Flat Race and Hurdle Race, displayed fantastic effort and teamwork.
Under the excellent guidance of their coaches, Miss Rida Khan, Miss Kauser and the incredible support provided by our dedicated Ms. Munnazzah Rehan, our students gave their absolute best.

Orange Day
Orange Day was celebrated with great zest and zeal in pre primary section. Orange is a winter fruit known for its bright colour and refreshing smell & taste .Our little kids learnt about the benefits of this fruit and things made from it through different activities.
Award Distribution Ceremony

Greenshield Public school held its Annual Award Distribution Ceremony on Saturday,17th December 2022.The school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling record both in scholastic and co-scholastic domain. Therefore, it wasn’t only Academic Excellence in Matric exams that was appreciated but also achievements in external events.
The shields and medals were awarded to the students by our Guest of Honor,CEO Aga Khan Examination Board Dr.Shehzad Jeeva.
He appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the faculty for their overall performances.Students attentively listened to his words of wisdom and motivational talk.
Our school also honoured the selfless and dedicated services of staff members .Our respected trustees presented attendance certificates and long service awards to the employees who have served school in various capacities over 15,10 and 5 years.

Sports Day
Sports have the power to change the world; it is a fundamental right and a powerful tool to strengthen social ties and promote sustainable development and peace, as well as solidarity and respect for all.
Winter Activities
At Greenshield Public School, we believe that learning happens best when it’s wrapped in joy and hands-on experiences.
Our Pre-Primary stars have had an absolutely “cool” week! From cozying up for the movie session to learning the importance of healthy eating, our Winter Activity Week was packed with laughter, learning, and warmth.
Middle School Program AKU-EB
Greenshield Public School has embarked on a new learning journey. Our V, VI, and VII grades have become part of the Aga Khan Board program (AKU-EB Middle School Programme). The MSP is currently being implemented for Grades VI, VII, and VIII.
The AKU-EB Middle School Programme (MSP) is a project-based, experiential form of learning emphasizing interdisciplinary education through the practical application of knowledge in real-world situations. This program lays a robust foundation for students, aiding in their preparation for progression to the SSC and HSSC programs.
Awaz e Watan
We are thrilled to share a wonderful news! Five of our primary girls participated in the national song competition, “Awaz-e-Watan,” at Habib Girls’ School, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.
A huge congratulations to Parishay Raheel for winning the **1st prize** in the Solo Performance category! We also want to give a special shout-out to Zainish Fatima, Syeda Aliza Fatima, Safa Waseem and Syeda Meerab Fatima for their beautiful and graceful performance in the Choir category. They all performed wonderfully and represented our school with great talent.
Professional Development of Teachers
Learning is an ongoing process, and a dedicated teacher never ceases to learn. At Greenshield Public School, priority is placed on professional development. Regardless of a teacher’s experience or training, it’s unrealistic to expect them to anticipate all the challenges they’ll encounter in their careers. Our school firmly believes in accelerating, not just linear, professional growth for our staff. Consequently, teachers at Greenshield Public School are provided with ample opportunities for professional development, enabling them to effectively impart knowledge to our students.
Milaad
Eid-e Milaad un Nabi (PBUH) is observed to celebrate the birth of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and to remember that he was the beacon of light and hope for everyone in this world. Milaad is celebrated with full devotion at Greenshield Public School every year. The student and teachers participated with full vigor. Also, students and teachers from different faith and beliefs had contributed to making these events memorable once as they participated with full enthusiasm, regardless of their faith. These were a few of the many examples that Greenshield is the school that inculcates and supports interfaith harmony and inclusiveness.
Plantation Activity
Gardening reconnect kids with the natural world that integrates with several subjects, as well as helps in achieving several educational goals. It also teaches personal and social responsibilities. Our Gardening Club enjoyed a rich learning experience by attending a training programme on Green Skills, during which students learned about Kitchen Gardening.They attended theory plus practical sessions and had hands on experience of planting their own favorite winter vegetables. We are thankful to Horticulturist Rtn.Imad Baig from RCK Capital Hills for making this possible. Students are now happily observing the seeds growing into saplings.
Ramadan Charity Drive
In the spirit of giving during the onset of Ramadan, GPS’s charity drive was a resounding success. Students from Pre-Primary to Grade X, along with their parents, participated enthusiastically, resulting in a diverse collection of food, toys, and clothing. These items were then distributed to an orphanage and individuals in need.
Story Telling Sessions
Who doesn’t love listening to stories? The teachers at Greenshield Public School makes sure to make learning fun for the students.
Annual Literary Art Competition
