Curricular Activities

Keeping the vision and mission of the school in mind, the teachers of Greenshield Public School have designed the curriculum in such a way that it is not only student-friendly but also enables them to be an independent and efficient working units of the society. The school firmly believes in providing holistic and integrated development to children so they can use their existing potential to the maximum.

Career Counseling & Guidance Sessions.

To help out our students in understanding their education and career goals we have organazied a series of Career Counseling & Guidance Sessions.
In first phase,Professor Stephen M. Lyon Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences,Aga Khan University spoke to our girls.
In the next phase,to encourage,motivate and create awareness among our girls regarding recruitment and commission in Pakistan Airforce,we organized a career guidance session for them.  We are very thankful to the PAF Airhead Quarter for facilitating our efforts and sending their team of officers for conducting that session.
Thirdly, a very informative career guidance session was conducted by Assistant Sub Inspector Warda Khan (Counter Terrorism Department) regarding recruitment opportunities for girls in Police Force. She talked about women empowerment and gave awareness about cyber security.
In the last stage, Mr Shumail Ali CEO  of Dorts  Association and Ms Atiqa Urooj , a freelancer, in their career guidance session. Both Freelancing and Entrepreneurship were discussed in the session, giving students a well-rounded perspective on their future career options.

Children's day Activities

The Pre-Nursery class celebrated Blue Day. Nursery and Kindergarten classes gained information about fruits and vegetables through different activities.

Orange Day

Orange Day was  celebrated with great  zest and zeal in pre primary section. Orange is a winter fruit known for its bright colour and  refreshing smell & taste .Our little kids learnt about the benefits of this fruit and things made from it through different activities.

Award Distribution Ceremony

Greenshield Public school held its Annual Award Distribution Ceremony on Saturday,17th December 2022.The school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling record both in scholastic and co-scholastic domain. Therefore, it wasn’t only Academic Excellence in Matric exams that was appreciated but also achievements in external events.
The shields and medals were awarded to the students by our Guest of Honor,CEO Aga Khan Examination Board Dr.Shehzad Jeeva.
He appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the faculty for their overall performances.Students attentively listened to his words of wisdom and motivational talk.
Our school also honoured the selfless and dedicated services of staff members .Our respected trustees presented attendance  certificates and  long service awards  to the employees who have served school in various capacities over 15,10 and 5 years.

Sports Day

Sports have the power to change the world; it is a fundamental right and a powerful tool to strengthen social ties and promote sustainable development and peace, as well as solidarity and respect for all.

Sand Activity Camel making

Interacting with nature is the best way to make children learn about the environment and surroundings. Here our kids were out and about on the campus. Students of reception GPS were able to explore the surroundings and identify the habitat of the camel as desert. They pasted the sand on the silhouette of the camel to color it.

Middle School Program AKU-EB

Greenshield Public School has embarked on a new learning journey. Our V, VI, and VII grades have become part of the Aga Khan Board program (AKU-EB Middle School Programme). The MSP is currently being implemented for Grades VI, VII, and VIII.

The AKU-EB Middle School Programme (MSP) is a project-based, experiential form of learning emphasizing interdisciplinary education through the practical application of knowledge in real-world situations. This program lays a robust foundation for students, aiding in their preparation for progression to the SSC and HSSC programs.

Independence Day

As Pakistanis, we all share emotions when it comes to our beloved homeland and that is immense love gratitude. This land is a fruit of many valiant and tireless efforts of our leaders and soldiers. And to commemorate to their memory eternal, the student of Greenshield celebrate independence days with full vigor and patriotism. It’s a national event celebrated with zeal and zest. This year a competition was held between the four houses including speeches and national songs. The winning houses got trophies and prizes.

Professional Development of Teachers

Learning is an ongoing process, and a dedicated teacher never ceases to learn. At Greenshield Public School, priority is placed on professional development. Regardless of a teacher’s experience or training, it’s unrealistic to expect them to anticipate all the challenges they’ll encounter in their careers. Our school firmly believes in accelerating, not just linear, professional growth for our staff. Consequently, teachers at Greenshield Public School are provided with ample opportunities for professional development, enabling them to effectively impart knowledge to our students.

Milaad

Eid-e Milaad un Nabi (PBUH) is observed to celebrate the birth of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and to remember that he was the beacon of light and hope for everyone in this world. Milaad is celebrated with full devotion at Greenshield Public School every year. The student and teachers participated with full vigor. Also, students and teachers from different faith and beliefs had contributed to making these events memorable once as they participated with full enthusiasm, regardless of their faith. These were a few of the many examples that Greenshield is the school that inculcates and supports interfaith harmony and inclusiveness.

Plantation Activity

Gardening reconnect kids with the natural world that integrates with several subjects, as well as helps in achieving several educational goals. It also teaches personal and social responsibilities. Our Gardening Club enjoyed a rich learning experience by attending a training programme on Green Skills, during which students learned about Kitchen Gardening.They attended theory plus practical sessions and had hands on experience of planting their own favorite winter vegetables. We are thankful  to Horticulturist Rtn.Imad Baig from RCK Capital Hills for making this possible. Students are now happily observing the seeds growing into saplings.

Birthday Celebrations

On the auspicious occasion of our school’s 9th anniversary, our students celebrated Students’ Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students took over the Reversal Role and acted as Teachers. They appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of their teachers and realized their role and responsibilities

Story Telling Sessions

Who doesn’t love listening to stories? The teachers at Greenshield Public School makes sure to make learning fun for the students. 

English/Urdu Declamations

Our students have shown their excellent debating skills at different forums, e.g: Dawood Public School, BVS Parsi School, Ghulaman e Abbas, etc. by the grace of our almighty Allah, like this year, student of our school have maintained their winning streak. An inter-school declamation was held at Dawood Public School, three young orators from our school competed with Karachi’s most prestigious academics institutions like Mama Parsi Girls’ School, St.Micheal’s High School, Habib Girls, PECHS Girls School, etc. our students, Syeda Ruqaiyah Fatima, Hawra Shawkat, and Noora Khan secured the positions in three different categories.

An Urdu speech interschool competition was also held at Dawood Public School. Girls from grades 7th, 9th and 10th represented Greenshield Public School as orators. Not only did they showcase their wonderful skills as speakers, but they also left the entire audience awestruck and won the 3rd Prize in 3rd category. A glorious victory indeed!!!

Habib Youth Festival

Our talented students participated enthusiastically in Habib Youth Festival held at Habib Public School.
Sara Majid of Grade X , bagged 2nd position in the Art category of this festival.
